For the first time in the history of women’s ice hockey, the Iranian and Russian teams will hold joint training camps. From December 3 to 10, a hockey camp will be organized at the Novogorsk Sports Center, where Russian athletes will be able to share their experiences, and guests will be able to improve their skills.

It is reported that the main initiator and organizer of the event was the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. The camps will help further strengthen the long-standing friendship between the countries.

Recall that the girls from the national women’s team of Iran have already come to Russia twice for training camps. They were held in Kazan and Almetyevsk within the framework of cooperation through the ADIHIC line. Also, Iranian women took part in the first TATNEFT ADIHIC Cup in 2023 in the capital of Tatarstan.

And recently, our coaches Andrey Makarov and Andrey Kazennykh worked in Tehran for several weeks and conducted practices for men and girls from the Iranian national teams of various ages.
