The Ak Bars ice hockey club presented exclusive  Kamzul jerseys, which was worn by the team on March 15 in the KHL match against Vityaz. The game was dedicated to the cultural heritage of Tatarstan.

Kamzul is the name of the Tatar vest, an important part of the national costume, in the style of which the entire design of the game sweater is made.

The elegant braid around the coat of arms and on the sleeves are transformed patterns from the gates of the Syuyumbike tower. The flag of Tatarstan is represented on the jersey by a tulip in the form of a snow leopard’s paw on the shoulders and an embroidered border around the perimeter.

The design of the Kamzul jersey was developed jointly with Kazan artist Alina Gibadullina and brand-manager Leonid Borisov.

The match of Tatar Culture is a traditional annual event, during which Tatneft Arena visitors get into the atmosphere of Tatar folk festivals with themed entertainment and music.

Mansur Usmanov, Executive director of LLC SCE Tatneft – Ak Bars:

– Kamzul is a tribute to the traditions and history of Tatarstan through hockey and sports design. We always strive to emphasize the team’s connection with the republic, its people and Tatars around the world, and this season we decided to enhance the atmosphere of the Tatar culture match with unique jerseys.
