Kyrgyzstan national ice hockey team has begun preparations for the IIHF IIB Division World Championship tournament. It will be held from April 6 to April 12 in Sofia (Bulgaria).

Kyrgyzstan will compete for gold medals with Israel, Iceland, New Zealand, Bulgaria and Taiwan (China).

As we reported earlier, preparations for the tournament are being conducted under the leadership of Ayvaz Khalikov, who was recently appointed head coach of Kyrgyzstan national team.
