11 straight wins: Ak Bars on a record tear

On October 29, Ak Bars beat Metallurg in a regular season match of the KHL Championship. The game in Tatneft Arena ended with a score of 4:0. Kazan set a club record in KHL for the longest winning streak – eleven straight wins.

In the first period, the teams did not score any goals. In the middle of the second period, Dmitrij Yaskin scored in the powerplay, and Radel Zamaltdinov doubled the advantage. 

In the third period, Ak Bars confidently led the way to victory: Ilya Karpukhin scored a double, and Kazan set a new club record for the longest winning streak.

Ak Bars remains in second place in the KHL Eastern Conference with 31 points. The snow leopards home series will continue on November 1 with a match against Lada, the game starts at 19:00 (Moscow time).
