The sixth Tatar ice hockey match between the local diasporas of the USA and Canada took place in Burlington, Vermont. The first annual Querdeslek (Brotherhood) Cup was held in 2017 and was interrupted only because of the pandemic.
This year, the tournament was held in the United States for the first time, and the players came from different cities in Canada and the United States.
During the full time, the teams did not identify a winner, and everything was decided in overtime, where the American Tatars won the 2025 Querdeslek (Brotherhood) Cup.
Rizvan Mansurov, a graduate of the Ak Bars Kazan Academy from the Toronto Tatar community, was named the most valuable player of the match.
According to the organizers of the match, due to the support of the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and the Ak Bars ice hockey club, the match became an important cultural event for the Tatars of North America.
