On December 8, Ak Bars Kazan will play away against Salavat Yulaev as part of the another matchday of the KHL regular season. The match in Ufa will start at 2:30 PM (UTC+3). This is the second game of the season between the two largest Muslim regions of Russia.

In the new KHL season, the hockey clubs Ak Bars and Salavat Yulaev have rethought their rivalry. The “Green Derby” has transformed into the “Evergreen Derby”. The aim of the new project is to take care of the environment and attract the attention of fans to environmental issues in the bordering republics. Now the Green Derby is a joint environmental initiative of the two clubs.
