On February 28, the U18 IIIB IIHF Junior World Championship will start, in which two ADIHIC countries – Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan – will take part at once.

Uzbekistan will make its debut at the JWC. At the moment, this team can be called one of the favorites of the tournament. Normunds Sejejs’s team will play the first match tomorrow, February 28, against the South African national team at 12:30 (GMT +3).

Most of the hockey players represent the Tashkent Select team and compete in the youth championship of Kazakhstan. It should be recalled that this particular roster became the IIHF Asia and Oceania champion last year in Tashkent, and before that it came to the ADIHIC training camps in Almetyevsk.

There is practically no information about the youth national team of Turkmenistan. In the first match they will face Luxembourg. The game will also take place on February 28 at 16:00 (GMT +3).
