The Division IV tournament of the 2025 IIHF World Championship starts in Yerevan today. Uzbekistan will make its international debut in it, and Armenia will return to big-time hockey after 15 years.
A total of six teams are participating in the tournament, which will play each other in a round-robin system from April 13 to 19. The strongest team will be promoted in class and will advance to the III Division B of the IIHF World Championship.
On the first game day on the ice of the Arena of the School of Figure Skating and Hockey, Indonesia will play with Iran at 2:00 PM (UTC +4), Kuwait will meet with Uzbekistan at 5:00 PM (UTC +4), and the hosts of the tournament will face with the Malaysian national team at 8:00 PM (UTC +4).
