16-year-old forward Salokhiddin Azimov goes to Stockholm. The talented forward of Uzbekistan national team became a player of the Swedish ice hockey club Sollentuna U-18. Azimov performed well in the selection process for the team, which included 14 players.

Azimov spent the previous season in the Czech league with Ceske Budejovice U17, along with another forward of Uzbekistan national team, Jasurbek Rustamkhonov. In 20 games in the Extraliga, Salokhiddin gained 9 (7+2) points. Azimov also gained 13 (7+6) points for Uzbekistan national team at the last tournament of the IV division of the IIHF World Championship. 

It should be noted that in 2024, Azimov and the entire youth national team of his country twice participated in Tatneft ADIHIC training camps in Almetyevsk.
