Kazakhstan national ice hockey team won the silver medals of the IA division tournament of the IIHF World Junior Championship, which takes place in Krynica. 

After the fourth round of the IA division of the IIHF World Junior Championship in Poland, the first two places of the tournament were determined ahead. 

In the decisive match of the tournament, Kazakhstan lost to Switzerland 2:3, but secured the silver of the championship. Swiss national team became the winner of the tournament.
