The UAE national ice hockey team is holding a 21-day training camp in the capital Abu Dhabi in preparation for the IIHF World Championship Division IIA tournament, which will be held in the capital of Serbia from April 29 to May 5.

In their first match, the UAE national team will face the Netherlands, which can be called the main favorites in the fight for promotion. 

It should be noted that over the past two years, the Emirates national team has already achieved historic successes for itself. In 2023, at a tournament in Turkey, the team from the Persian Gulf became the winner of the IIB division of the IIHF World Championship, and last year it became the bronze medalist of the IIA division.
