The tournament of the third division of Group B of the IIHF Junior World Championship (U20) will be held in Bishkek from January 18 to 24. National teams of Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran and Hong Kong will compete for promotion.

Before the Junior World Championship, Kyrgyzstan national team holds a series of open practices for young hockey fans and their parents. The first open practice was held on January 5, and two more will be held on January 8 and 11 at the Eurasia Amusement Park.
