Kyrgyzstan won the IIHF World Championship

The national ice hockey team of Kyrgyzstan triumphantly completed its performance in the IIHF IIIA Division World Championship and won the gold medals of the competition. 

The IIIA Division World Championship was held in Istanbul, and Kyrgyzstan’s rivals were the national teams of Turkmenistan, Turkey, South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luxembourg. Kyrgyzstan has won all its five matches, scored the most (27 goals) and conceded the least (5 goals) in the championship. 

The forward of the Kyrgyz national team, Mamed Seifulov, became the top scorer of the tournament (6+3), and Mikhail Chuvalov entered the top 3 of the rating (3+4).
