Kazakhstan women’s national ice hockey team took third place at the IIHF Asian Championship held in Ust-Kamenogorsk. In their final match, Kazakhstan defeated South Korea (3:1).

Japan won the tournament with three shutout victories: against Kazakhstan (6:0), South Korea (7:0), and China (4:0). China’s team took silver, while South Korea finished fourth.
