Lebanese national team won the inaugural Qatar Hockey Championship. Lebanon wins the first open ice hockey tournament in Qatar, which was held from February 8 to 12 in Doha.

Cedars beat all three opponents in the group stage of the tournament: Typhoon from Kazakhstan (12:1), Myasberry from Russia (8:0) and Galaxy from the UAE (5:1). In the semifinals of the championship, Lebanese national team beat Myasberry for the second time with a score of 5:0, and Galaxy with a score of 7:2 in the final.
