Junior national team of Uzbekistan (U18) beat Kyrgyzstan (3:2) in the final match of the tournament and won the third IIHF Asian Cup.

Uzbekistan confidently went the entire distance of the tournament without a single defeat. First, the blue-whites confidently beat Kyrgyzstan (4:2), then defeated India (15:1), Mongolia (7:2) and Indonesia (13:0), and then defeated the hosts of the tournament again (3:2). 

Thus, Uzbekistan became a three-time winner of the IIHF Asian Cup. In 2024, the team also did it on their home ice in Tashkent. It should be noted that for the third year in a row, junior national team of Uzbekistan participates in the ADIHIC training camp in Almetyevsk. 

National team of Kyrgyzstan took the second place in its debut Asian Cup, and Mongolia – the third.
