On August 28, regular meetings were held within the framework of the audit of the member countries of the ADIHIC. In an online format, representatives of the organization talked with representatives of three of its members: the Secretary General of the Algerian Hockey Federation – Qais Tariq Hafsi, the President of the Royal Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation – Mohammed Khalid Mrini and the President of the Hockey Federation of Turkmenistan – Zhora Khudaiberdiyev.
Most of all, representatives of Morocco, Turkmenistan and Algeria are interested in training children’s coaches and judges. Due to its development, ice hockey may become more popular among the masses
Representatives of Algeria and Morocco, as well as colleagues from Lebanon, about whom we wrote earlier, work far from their country. Their representative offices are located in Canada. At the moment there are no ice rinks inside Algeria
Together with the experts of the Ak Bars hockey club, an audit of the hockey infrastructure in these countries was conducted in various areas, and the ways of hockey development were outlined
It should be noted that at the last Ice Hockey World Championship, Turkmenistan won silver medals in the group “A” of the 3rd division. Turkmen hockey players are two-time holders of bronze medals of the world championship in the same division. The last time they achieved this, was last year at the World Championships in Luxembourg. In the spring of this year, the coaches of HC Ak Bars took part in the training process of the Turkmenistan national team, and Danis Zaripov conducted an individual master class and passed on invaluable experience
In the foreseeable future, Morocco may even build a new international hockey arena. At the moment there are two ice rinks in the country, but they do not fit the Olympic standard. The hockey community is very interested in the construction of this facility, and it can give a new round of sports development in the country
