Kuwait will become the host country of the next IV Division IIHF World Championship in 2026. This became known at the organization’s semi-annual summit, which is currently taking place in Nice, France. 

Singapore, Armenia, Kuwait, Indonesia, Iran and Malaysia will participate in the tournament. The championship will be held from April 12 to 18, 2026 in Kuwait City.
