UAE national ice hockey team won bronze at the IIA Division IIHF World Championship tournament in Belgrade.

In the final match of the championship, the UAE defeated Belgium (8:0), and before that, they outplayed Australia (3:1). It is noteworthy that in the first three games, the Emirates lost three times in a row: to Israel (2:3), Serbia (1:4) and the Netherlands (0:5)

Following the stats, the UAE forward Ilya Chuikov entered the top 2 assists and top 4 scoring leaders of the tournament by scoring 9 (2+7) points. Konstantin Belomoev entered the top 3 goalies of the championship and reflected 94.71% of shots in five games
