Kuwaiti referee Shoug Al-Hindal was chosen to officiate at the U18 2026 Women’s World Championship Division III in Thailand next January.

IIHF chose Al-Hindal for the second time after her success in the last edition of the championship.

Al-Hindal said that she expressed her pride in being the first Kuwaiti referee to participate in such high-level event for two consecutive times and expressed her readiness to exert her atmost effort to present Kuwaiti Ice Hockey in the best way possibl. She added that her successful participation in officiating the previous edition of the championship will motivate her to achieve even greater success in the upcoming tournament.
